The team here at GenEarth takes great joy in teaching young community members about the importance of environmental conservation and empowering them to do their part in conserving our resources and preserve our community's green spaces. Through educational programming in schools and community events, we encourage young community members to do develop eco-friendly skills and practice those skills at home and in school.
GenEarth is an environmental organization dedicated to promoting environmental awareness through education! We are passionate about teaching the community how they can best do their part in preserving the planet and wildlife as a whole.
We believe that environmental education should start early in life in order to build lasting behaviors that will reduce the impact made over time and extend the life of our limited, natural resources. Increasing environmental awareness is the first step in creating a greener community. We do this through community programming and educational events, as well as through the promotion of reliable online resources. Our mission is carried out by our community members and volunteers who strive to promote and encourage eco-friendly living at many different levels.
So, what does it mean to “go green”? Going green means to make changes to one's behaviors or habits that promote conservation, recycling, and re-usability within the green movement. It means thinking ecologically about how one's actions impact the environment and taking measures to lessen that impact, if even by a small amount, with the goal of preserving and improving the environment for future community members. The team here at GenEarth believes in educating our community through environmental programming! The GenEarth team wants to educate people of all ages on the importance of going green.
